Kanjoor Varyattu Sri Subramanya Swami temple is located at Kanjoor in Ernakulam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Subrahmanya, son of Shiva, who is popularly known as Muruga. The temple is famous in the region of Thaipooyam festival in Makaram month (January – February).
The small shrine has a standing murti of Muruga or Subrahmanya.
The Thaipooyam festival is famous for traditional Kavadi by devotees. Colorful kavadiyattam, temple music, tableau, temple art forms and procession are part of the festival.
The temple also observes monthly Sashti fasting, Skanda Sashti and Thrikarthika.
