Yakkara Sri Visweswara temple is located at West Yakkara in Palakkad district, Kerala. The pratishta in Visweswara temple was performed by Sri Narayana Guru. There are three deities worshipped in the temple Shiva, Ganapati and Subrahmanian.
The pratishta in the temple was done by Sri Narayana Guru on June 6, 1913 CE ( kollavarsham 1088 Edavam 24).

Shivratri in Meenam and Thaipooyam in Kumbham month are important festivals here. Vinayaka Chaturthi in Chingamasam is also observed.
Monthly Sashti fasting attracts devotees. Monday is the most auspicious day here. Those observing the fortnightly Pradosh vrat also visit the temple on the occasion.
