Sree Swamy Madom Temple - Anchuthengu

Sree Swamy Madom Temple is located at Anchuthengu in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is of importance because the prathishta in the temple was performed by Sree Narayana Guru. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva and a Shivling is worshipped in the temple is unique.

The Shivling worshipped in the temple is made out of a mixture of Silver and Copper.

Sri Narayana Guru had asked people not to observe any festival here. He asked them to concentrate on the Advaita concept. People of the region do not observe festival in the temple.

Monday is of great importance in the temple. The shrine observes Pradosham on the 12th or the 13th day of a fortnight.
