Nagampadam Sri Mahadevar Temple

Nagampadam Sri Mahadevar temple, also known as Nagampadam Shiva temple, is located at Nagampadam in Kottayam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. The temple is of great significance in the history of Kerala as Sri Narayana Guru gave permission for Sivagiri Theerthadanam when he was visiting the temple. This happened on Kollavarsham 1103 Makara Masam 3.

The Shivling worshiped in the temple was consecrated by a disciple of Sri Narayana Guru, Bodanadha Swami in Kollavarsham 1090 (1915 CE).

Shivratri is of great significance in the temple. Mondays in a week and Pradosham day in a fortnight attract large number of devotees.

There are also small shrines for Upa Devatas in the temple.
