Melancode Shiva temple is located around 2 km from Kumaracoil in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva and is part of the famous Shivalaya Ottam held on Shivratri day. Shivalaya Ottam is running to 12 Shiva temples in the region.
The sankalpam of Shiva pratishta in the temple is that of Kalakala Murti.
