Periya Udayar temple is located at Kollampuzha (Kizhakkupuram) near Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. Spatika Lingam is worshipped in the temple. Darshaham of Periya Udayar temple is towards west.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Vishnu, Ganapathy, Saraswati and Hanuman.
The main festival observed in the temple is Mahashivratri in Kumbham month.
As per history, the Spatika Lingam (glass Shivling) was stolen from Kochi kingdom. It is said that the Shivling was stolen to bring prosperity to Attingal area in ancient times.
