Iringole Kavu is an ancient temple located 2.5 kilometer from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, Kerala. This is one among the 108 Durga temples in Kerala. The Kavu or grove is one among the biggest in Kerala and is spread across 55 acres. The annual festival in the temple held in Meena Masam (March - April) and is known as Poora Maholsavam. The 8-day festival concludes on the Pooram nakshatra day in Meenam month.
The murti worshipped in the temple is swayambhu murti in shila. The murti was discovered when a part of the grove was being cleared. The sword struck the shila and blood started oozing out.
The murti in the shrine faces east. Sheeveli is performed in the temple. A female elephant alone has the right to participate in the Sheeveli.
The main offering in the temple is jaggery.
The temple belonged to Nagasseri, Ottavazhiyam and Pattasseri Manas.

It is believed that the Goddess Shakti worshipped in the temple is the female child that escaped from the hands of Kamsa when he tried to kill it.
It has been believed for centuries that the chaitanyam or power of Goddess is found in the plants, trees, creepers and climbers around the temple.
