Edathoottu Shiva temple is located at Puthukkad village in Thrissur district, Kerala. There are two temples here dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu. Importance is given to Shiva. The darshanam of Edathoottu Shiva is towards west.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathy and Nandi.
The main festival observed in the temple is Shivratri.
Both the deities in the temple have to be taken out in procession in the same manner (oru pole ezhunellikkuka).
It is believed that the temple had huge wealth in ancient times.
