Cheemeni Dharmasastha temple is located at Cheemeni in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The temple is one among the 108 Ayyappa temples in Kerala. The shrine is mentioned as Kodakattu Kavu in Thottam Pattu, which mentions the 108 Ayyappan Kavukal in Kerala.
The main deity worshipped in the temple is Sastha. The darshanam of Cheemeni Dharmasastha is towards west.
As per history, the temple might have belonged to Kondagattu Mana. As per local belief, the temple belonged to Kammoth Nair and was located inside a big grove (kavu).
