Agalpady Durga Parameshwari Temple, dedicated to Goddess
Durga, is located around 22 km east of Kasargod in Kerala. Mother Goddess
Shakti is worshipped here as Goddess Annapoorneshwari and Lord Shiva is
worshiped here as Jadadhari. Shiva is an Upa Devata here.
The main deity faces east.
The temple belongs to Karhade Brahmins who arrived here from Maharashtra.
The architecture of the shrine is typical Kerala – Malabar style
architecture. The flag post is an important aspect of the shrine.
