Edappally Thrikkovil Sree Krishna Temple History

Edappally swaroopam fought against the Cochin king by joining forces with Samoothiri of Kozhikode. But the war ended in favor of Cochin king and due to this the Edappally swaroopam was not allowed entry into the Ernakulam Mahadeva temple. So a new temple, now known as Thrikkovil Sree Krishna temple, was built by the Edappally swaroopam.

The temple is now maintained by NSS Karayogam.
