Shree Venkataramana Mahamaya temple is located at Thayyil in Kannur, Kerala. The main murti worshipped in the temple is Lakshmi Devi and Bhu Devi along with Venkataramana form of Vishnu.
Goddess Mahamaya is worshipped on the right side of Shree Venkataramana.
The temple was built during the 17th century.
The temple belongs to the Goud Saraswat Brahmin community. It is believed that the community was invited by Arakkal King from Goa for doing business in his kingdom.
Navratri (September or October) is the most important festival in the temple.
