Hidimbi, or Hidimba Devi, was a forest dweller and she was the first wife of Bhima of Mahabharata. Her brother,
Hidimba was killed by Bhima, the second of the Pandava brothers. Hidimbi later
married Bhima and they lived together for a year. In fact, Hidimbi was the

honor or recognition.
Hidimbi happily ruled the kingdom of her brother.

into the forest to do penance.
