The important offerings made to Chinnamasta Devi include:
The lamp should be lit using mustard oil and a small amount of neel or blue should be mixed in the oil.
Blue flowers likes mandakini or sadabahar should be offered.
Tilak should be made using surmayi (सुरमे)
The food or bhog for the day should be prepared using Urad dal.
Another important offering is black salt and hakeek.
Prayers or mantras should be chanted using Rudraksha Mala
