How to Chant Shani Gayatri Mantra?
- Chant the mantra in the morning after taking bath. Put some black til (sesame) in the water in which you are taking bath.
- First offer prayers to Ganesha and Hanuman in mind.
- Wear black or any other dark color dress.
- Sit facing northeast or east and light a lamp with one wick using sesame oil.
- Chant the mantra the number of times you are comfortable. Keep count on a Rudraksha Mala.
- End the chanting by offering a food item prepared using Sesame oil.
- Visit a Shani temple and offer prayers. Help needy by making a donation.
