Goddess Totala – Information About Hindu Goddess Totala

Goddess Totala is a manifestation of Goddess Parvati in Hinduism. In this form she destroys the sins of her devotees.

As per information, Goddess Totala is more closely associated with the Gauri form of Mother Goddess Shakti. It is said that Goddess Totala talks with her devotees lovingly and in a childish manner. That is why she is known as Totala.

In this form, Mother Goddess is kind and benevolent. She is depicted as a peaceful deity.

She is four-armed. She holds Shula, Akshamala, Danda and white Chauri.

In some regions, Goddess Totala is associated with Goddess Tara. When she is associated with Goddess Tara, she is also the goddess of herbs and medicines.

Temples dedicated to Goddess Totala are found in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in India.
