Veer Madhav Form of Lord Vishnu - Worshipped To Overcome The Fear of Death

Veer Madhav is a manifestation of Vishnu mentioned in the Kashi Khanda of Skanda Purana. This form of Bhagvan Vishnu is worshipped to overcome the fear of death.

It is believed that one who offers prayers to Veer Madhav will be able to keep Yama, the Hindu God of Death, at bay.

Some texts mention that this form of Vishnu is propitiated for attaining heaven.

Veer Madhav form of Vishnu is worshipped in two small temples in Kashi (Varanasi).
