Veer Madhav is a manifestation of Vishnu mentioned in the
Kashi Khanda of Skanda Purana. This form of Bhagvan Vishnu is worshipped to
overcome the fear of death.
It is believed that one who offers prayers to Veer Madhav will be able to keep Yama, the Hindu God of Death, at bay.

Information regarding Veer Madhav is very sketchy. There are
only minor references to the deity. We might have lost the holy texts that
contained the information and mantra about the deity.
Some texts mention that this form of Vishnu is propitiated
for attaining heaven.
Veer Madhav form of Vishnu is worshipped in two small temples
in Kashi (Varanasi ).
