Shiva Gayatri Mantra is a sacred and powerful mantra dedicated
to Lord Shiva. Chanting of the mantra and following Dharma – hurting no other
being physically or mentally – will help in desire fulfillment.

How to chant the Shiva Gayatri Mantra?
- The mantra should be chanted early in the morning along with sunrise.
- Take bath and wear white color clothes.
- Offer prayers to Ganesha in mind.
- If your chanting the mantra looking at the sun. Then you can skip all the below puja process. Just pour water mixed with bilva leaves looking at the sun.
- If you are performing the puja in home then do the following procedure.
- Light a lamp using cow ghee.
- Place a murti or picture Shiva or shivling on a white cloth.
- Offer water to Shivling or murti.
- Offer white color flowers.
- Offer Bhasma or sacred ash.
- Offer camphor.
- Offer white kheer or any white sweet to Shiva.
- Now chant the Shiva Gayatri mantra. Chant it 108 times. To keep count you can use a rudraksha mala.
- The kheer should be later shared with family members. If anything is left then it should be given to a cow.
