It was also told in many online portals that the one possessed it would have desires fulfilled especially sexual desires. It was marketed as an excellent Vashikaran product.

What is being sold as 'hatha jodi' is no herb but actually the penis of the Indian monitor lizard.
Economic times of India reports
‘Hatha Jodi’, which literally means‘ clasped hands’ in prayer is a rage across e-commerce websites as the ‘rare magical herb’, which is said to be imbued with divine tantric powers believed to bring in prosperity to its owner. Only that the occultists have completely misrepresented the 'magical' item. Wild Life Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) has discovered that the 'hatha jodi' is no herb but actually the penis of the Indian monitor lizard.

The high volumes of this ‘rare herb’ being smuggled out of India caught the eye of the country’s WCCB, which launched undercover 'Operation Wildnet' on May 1, 2017. After rounds of successful seizures from Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Gujarat and now Uttar Pradesh Hatha Jodi was sent to Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad for testing and it turned out to be the bifurcated penis/hemipenis of Monitor Lizard.

Most online ecommerce websites have taken out the product.
