Chandrabhaga fair is held annually on Kartik Purnima day,
full moon day in Kartik month, as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar near
Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar District in Rajasthan. The main event on the day is
taking holy dip in the Chandrabhaga River. Chandrabhaga Fair 2024 date is
November 15.
Another major event on the day is Deep Daan – offering of
lamps to ancestors. People light up lamps and float them on the river on Kartik
Purnima night.
Chandramouleshwara Mahadev Temple is located on the banks of Chandrabhaga
River.
A cattle fair is also held during the period.
