Balchandrama Vrat is observed in Chaitra month. It is
dedicated to Balchandrama and is observed for prosperity and happy life. This
is a very rare vrat mainly observed by some communities in western and
northwestern parts of India. Balchandrama Vrat 2018 date is March 18.
After early morning bath and purification, prayers are
offered to Ganesha and then to Balchandrama. Only a single meal is taken on the
day. The Prasad offered is white in color.
Balchandrama vrat is observed on Chaitra Shukla Paksha Pratipada
tithi or the first day during the waxing phase of moon in Chaitra month.
