Sri Rama Vaikunta Swamy Temple is located at Pushkar in
Rajasthan. It is one of the largest and most intricate temples in Pushkar. The
architecture of Rama Vaikunth Temple is quite similar to the temples in South
India. A noteworthy aspect of the shrine is the sculpted images of nearly 361
deities on the gopuram and pillars.
The temple is located in a huge space with a huge gopuram
built in southern style.
The murtis worshiped in the sanctum sanctorum are Vaikunta
Venkatesh (Balaji or Venkateswara) his consorts Lakshmi Devi and Bhu Devi. The
murtis are carved from black granite stone and is decorated with gold
ornaments.
