Amboli Yatra is undertaken annually in Ashwin month. It is
the yatra to the Hiranyakeshi Temple at Amboli. The Jatra is organized during the
Sharan Navaratri period. Amboli Yatra 2024 date is October 8.
Hiranyakeshi Temple at Amboli is dedicated to Goddess
Parvati and Shiva. The shrine is located on the banks of a river which is also
known as Hiranyakeshi River.
Amboli Yatra is held on on Ashwin Shukla Paksha Panchami
Tithi or the fifth day during the waxing phase of moon in Ashwin month as per
traditional Hindu lunar calendar in Maharashtra.
