Gokulashtami Yatra at Saptakoteshwar Temple is annually
observed in Shravan month. It is the jatra or annual festival associated with
Sri Krishna Janmashtami in the Saptakoteshwar Temple at Narve in Goa. Gokulashtami
Yatra 2026 date is September 4.
Saptakoteshwar temple at Narve is considered to be one of
the six important Shiva temples in Konkan area.
The annually yatra is noted for all the regular rituals associated
with Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival in western parts of India. Dahi Handi and
Gopalkala are famous in these regions on the day.
