Bhavani Devi Nidrakal at Tulja Bhavani Temple

Tuljabhavani Nidrakal is a holy period at the famous Tulja Bhavani Temple in Maharashtra. Bhavani Devi Nidrakal in 2025 is from September 14 to September 21. It is observed from from the 8th day of the Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha to no moon day (Amavasya) in Bhadrapad month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.

Nidrakaal is when the Goddess remains in cosmic sleep. Such periods are observed in certain Shakti Temples.

The famous Navratri festival commences after the Bhavani Devi Nidrakal.
