Sri Someswara Swamy Vari Temple at Narsapur in Andhra Pradesh

Sri Someswara Swamy Vari Temple is located at Narsapur in West Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. The shrine is located near the Vasista River (also known as the Vasista Godavari). The temple is dedicated to Shiva – who is worshipped here as Someswara Swamy. As Someswara, Shiva is the one who saved Chandra, the moon god from vanishing completely. Someshwara Shiva is also the Lord of the medicines.

This is a small but beautiful shrine. It follows the Shaiva tradition.

Shivratri is the most important festival observed here.

Pradosham and Mondays attract maximum devotees. Speical pujas are observed during the days.
