Gnana Saraswati Temple at Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh

Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple is located at SVN nagar near Ring Road in Vizianagaram and is a temple exclusively dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess learning and knowledge. This is a modern temple and was established in 2006. The temple is famous for Aksharabhyasam – initiation of children into the world of learning and letters. The temple is around 2 KM from Vizianagaram Railway Station and Bus Station.



Every year during Vasant Panchami and Navarati thousands of children are initiated into the world of knowledge and learning at the temple.

Special pujas for education of children are performed in the temple.

People also keep notebooks, pencils and other study materials of their children at the feet of goddess for taking her blessings.

The Shrine is open from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
