Tukamai Maharaj Punyatithi at Yehlegaon Village near Hingoli – Shri Tukaraam-Chaitanya Maharaj Punyatithi

Tukamai Maharaj Punyatithi is annually observed in Jyeshta month. It is the death anniversary of Shri Tukaram-Chaitanya Maharaj – a great saint in Bhakti tradition in Maharashtra during the 18th century. Tukamai Maharaj Punyatithi 2024 date is June 14. The day is of importance at Yehlegaon Village near Hingoli in Maharashtra.

Pujas, satsangs and philanthropic activities are organized on the day in memory of Tukamai Maharaj. Hundreds of people visit Yehlegaon on the day.

Tukamai Maharaj Punyatithi is observed on Jyeshta Shukla Paksha Ashtami Tithi or the eighth day during the waxing phase of moon in Jyeshta month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
