Sant Tukaram Maharaj Jayanti is annually observed in Magh
month. It is the Janamdin or birth anniversary of Sant Tukaram Maharaj. One of
the greatest exponents of the Bhakti cult in Marathi culture, Sant Tukaram is
worshipped by millions of people around the world and people take inspiration
from his poems and teachings. Sant Tukaram Maharaj Jayanti 2025 date is February 2.
The day is not widely observed. Some programs are conducted
at Dehu. Scholars have different opinion regarding the birth date of Sant
Tukaram Maharaj.
The most important festival associated with Sant Tukaram is
the Tukaram Beej observed in Phalgun month.

Shukla Paksha Panchami Tithi or the fifth day during the waxing phase of moon
in Magh month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra .
