Sant Nivruttinath was a great saint of Maharashtra, the annual yatra dedicated to the sant is observed on the Jyeshtha Krishna Paksha Ekadasi at Trimbakeshwar in Nashik in Maharashtra. In 2026, Sant Nivruttinath Yatra is on July 11. His Punyathithi or death anniversary is observed the next day on May 12. Another Yatra dedicated to the Saint is observed during Paush Krishna Paksha Ekadasi and this is on January 14, 2026.

Sant Nivruttinath is the elder of brother of the famous Marathi Saint Dnyaneshwar, who wrote the famous Dnyaneshwari – Marathi Bhagavad Gita.

Sant Nivruttinath attained samadhi at Trimbakeshwar in Nashik.
