This is a unique ritual observed on the Amavasya day in Magh month in calendars followed in North India . Brahma Savitri Vrat 2026 date is January 18. It is observed on the no moon day of Magh month by certain Hindu communities in North India .
Please note that the Vat Amavasya Vrat in Jyeshta month (June – July) is also referred as Brahma Savitri Vrata.
