Vyadeshwar Yatra and Palkhi is annually held on Shivratri. It is
undertaken to the Vyadeshwar Temple located at Guhagar in Ratnagiri
District in Maharashtra. Vyadeshwar Yatra and palkhi 2027 date is March 6. The mandir
is dedicated to Shiva.
This annual jatra and festival attracts hundreds of
devotees. People also flock to the fair and festival organized during the
period.
The shrine is decorated for the occasion with lamps, lights,
leaves, flowers etc for the occasion. Food donation is also held on the
occasion.
Various rituals are performed during the period.
Vyadeshwar Yatra at Guhagar is observed on the Mahashivratri
day in Magh month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed
in Maharashtra.
