Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti – Bhuvaneshwari Mahavidya Jayanti

Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti is believed to be the day when Goddess Bhuvaneshwari incarnated on earth. She is the fourth of the ten Mahavidyas. Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti 2024 date is September 15. She is a powerful incarnation of Goddess Shakti and worshipped throughout India.

Bhuvaneswari means the queen or ruler of the universe, the realm of being. She is the Divine Mother as the queen of all the worlds. The whole universe is her body and all beings are ornaments on Her infinite being. She carries all the worlds as a flowering of Her own Self's nature.

Bhuvaneshwari Jayanti is observed on the Shukla Paksha Dwadashi day or the 12th day during the waxing phase of moon in Bhadrapad Month. Special pujas are held on the day in Shakti Temples in North India.
