Telugu Ashada Month 2015 – Ashad Masa 2015 in Telugu Calendar in Andhra Pradesh



Ashada Masa is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Ashada Masa 2015 is from July 17 to August 14.  Some of the auspicious days in the month include Guru Purnima, the beginning of Chatur Mas Vrata and Shayani Ekadasi.

Sankashti Chaturthi monthly fasting dedicated to Lord Ganesh is in Ashada Mahina is on August 3 – Moonrise is at 9:30 PM – Indian standard time.

Purnima in Telugu Ashada Masa
Ashada Purnima or Full moon day is on July 31, 2015. The Purnima Vrat is marked on July 30.
The Purnima begins at 7:01 PM on July 30 and ends at 4:13 PM on July 31. Vyasa and Guru Purnima Vrat are observed on July 31, 2015.

Amavasi in Telugu Ashada Masa
Ashad Amavasya or No moon day is on August 14, 2015. The Amavasi begins at 6:49 PM on August 13, 2015 and ends at 8:23 PM on August 14, 2015.

The dates of important festivals and auspicious days in Telugu Ashada Masam are:
Chatur Mas Vrata begins – July 27
Go Padma Vrata begins – July 27
Chukkala Amavasi and Gauri Vratam – August 14
