Ashad Amavasya or No moon day is on August 6, 2013. The Amavasi begins at 1:32 AM on August 6, 2013 and ends at 3:20 AM on August 7, 2013.

Please note that Ashada month 2013 in traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India is from June 24 to July 22.
Ashada Month in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka is similar to the Telugu Calendar.

If you are still scared about Ashada Month...then before buying break a coconut for Ganesha.
Why to put mehendi in Ashadam??
Mehandi is put in Ashada Masam to protect skin. It is also done as a ritual to mother goddess.
i have booked a new car in the ashada month. There are good auspicious days in this month. I am taking delivey on the first ashada shukravar 22 Friday, which is also the Janmamohatsav of goddess chamundeshwari
is it is trur that newly married daughter in law should not stay at their mother in laws house & should not see the face of her mother in law
Such things are not based on Hindu scriptures. All these are blind beliefs.
