Pilicode Theru Someswari temple is located on the Thottam-Padne Road at Pilicode in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Someshwari, Chamundi and Vishnumoorthi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Thula Masam – Thulam 23 and Thulam 24 (November 9 to November 10).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Pilicode Someswari temple are Chooliyar Bhagavathi, Padaveeran theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Moovalamkuzhi Chamundi.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil for the main deity. Some
deities are worshipped atop square platforms and under trees. There are other
sreekovils in the temple compound. The temple has a small pond.
- തെരു ശ്രീ സോമേശ്വരി ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ ദ്വിദിന കളിയാട്ടമാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. തുലാം ഇരുപത്തി മൂന്നിനാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ കളിയാട്ടം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഇരുപത്തിനാലിന് വൈകുന്നേരം കളിയാട്ടത്തിന് സമാപനം കുറിക്കും.
- മൂവാളം കുഴി ചാമുണ്ഡിയാണ് പ്രധാന തെയ്യക്കോലം. ഇരുപത്തി മൂന്നിന് വൈകുന്നേരം അടയാളം കൊടുക്കല്‍ ചടങ്ങോടുകൂടി ഇവിടുത്തെ തെയ്യം കെട്ട് ആരംഭിക്കും.
- വിഷ്ണു മൂര്‍ത്തി, പടവീരന്‍, ചൂളിയാര്‍ ഭഗവതി, ഗുളികന്‍ ദൈവം എന്നിവയും ഇവിടെ കെട്ടിയാടുന്നു.
