Dasbodh Jayanti is observed in Magh month. Dasbodh means ‘advice to the disciple.’ It is believed that this Advaita Vedanta spiritual text in Marathi was first narrated on this day. Dasbodh Jayanti 2017 date is February 5.
Sant Samarth Ramdas orally narrated Dasbodh to his disciple, Kalyan Swami. It is presented in the format of a conversation between a Guru and disciple.
