Goddess Samanya Lakshmi is one of the manifestations of
Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of peace, prosperity and wealth. Goddess
Samanyalakshmi is always depicted as having two hands. In fact the name is exclusively
used to refer to the goddess when has two hands.
It must be noted here that Goddess Lakshmi is usually
depicted with four arms.
But when she appears in the normal human form, she has two
hands and is known as Samanyalakshmi.
This form of the Goddess resides among devotees and provides
them with peace and prosperity. She resides in places which are clean.
