Madhu Krishna Trayodashi Importance - April 2025 date

Madhu Krishna Trayodashi is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. It is observed on the 13th day (Trayodashi) during the waning phase of the moon (Krishna Paksha) in the Phalgun or Falguna month as per calendars followed in Maharashtra. Madhu Krishna Trayodashi 2025 date is March 27.

On Madhu Krishna Trayodashi some devotees undertake a partial fast. Some Hindu devotees opt for a complete fast. The day is mainly observed in western part of India by some Hindu communities.

The upvaas and fasting on the 13th day is usually dedicated to Shiva.

Planting Bilva tree on the day is considered highly meritorious.
