Brahmaputra Pushkaram is held once in 12 years and is conducted in Brahmaputra banks in Assam and also at the Pushkar Lake in Rajasthan. Brahmaputra Pushkaram 2019 dates are from November 5. This pushkaram is held when Jupiter enters Dhanu Rasi (Sagittarius). The main ritual includes taking holy dip in the Brahmaputra River and Pushkar Lake.

Early morning of November 5 to November 16, 2019.

The most important place to take bath are Sivasagar in Assam. It is located around 360 km northeast of Guwahati.

A Pushkaram takes place once in 12 years when Jupitar (Brihaspati) enters a particular zodiac.

There are total of 12 rivers where Pushkaram takes place. The most famous is the Godavari Pushkaram.

The ritual of pushkaram is more popular in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
