Mangalwari Chaturthi happens when Chaturthi tithi falls on Mangalvar or Tuesday. Chaturthi is the fourth day of a fortnight as per traditional Hindu calendar.  The popular belief is that prayers done on the day are highly meritorious and rewarding. Prayers on the day are dedicated to Ganesha.
