Plan to Construct Large Hanuman Statue in the World at Butwal in Nepal

A 151-feet statue of Hanuman is being planned at the premises of the Durga Temple at Jeetgadhi in Butwal in Nepal. Currently the world’s tallest Hanuman statue is located at Parital in Krishna District near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh in India. The Paritala Hanuman is known as Veera Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swami and is 135 feet high (41 meter).
Himalayan Times reports 
The largest statue of Hanuman is to be installed at local Jeetgadhi with the objective of contributing to the development of tourism in this region by promoting religious tourism. 
The Hanuman is the legendary Hindu monkey-deity known for his devotion, wisdom, strength and valour and is highly revered. 
The mammoth statue of the Sankatmochan Hanuman is to be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 150 million. The statute would be 151-feet tall and would be installed on some three bighas plot on the premises of the Durga Temple at Jeetgadhi.
