The Suryagrahan will be taking place as per India time between 8:22 AM on July 13, 2018 and ends at 9:26 AM on July 13. It takes place during midnight in India. Please note that the eclipse is not visible in India.
Note - Pregnant women need not worry about the eclipse. No need of any tension. It is just another normal day. Don't believe in all hearsay and superstitions. If you still have doubts and lack of confidence then just stay at home on the day.

Usually during a Surya Grahan, a fast (Upvaas) is observed by certain communities in Hindu religion. The fast begins about 9 hours before the beginning of Surya Grahan.
People also take a bath in cold water and chant mantras dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Shiva like the Ashtakshara Mantra or Mrityunjaya Mantra. This is done whenever Surya and Chandra are under the influence of Rahu. Pregnant women chant the Santana Gopala Mantra.
