How to register for Amarnath Yatra?

A devotee needs to register for Amarnath Yatra – the annual pilgrimage to the famous cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir in India dedicated to Lord Shiva. The cave shrine is noted for the formation of a natural Shiva Lingam. The annual Amarnathji Yatra is conducted for two months and begins on full moon day in June and ends on full moon day in August. Registration for the Amarnath Yatra begins two weeks before the actual Yatra date.
Devotees wishing to participate in the Amarnath Yatra can register at branches of Jammu and Kashmir Limited in India by paying a nominal fee.

It must be noted that the Yatra faces frequent interruptions due to weather conditions and also due to political reasons. A Yatri needs to constantly keep updating regarding the latest developments and contact the Jammu and Kashmir Bank to know about the latest status when the yatra is postponed.
