Kadak Lakshmi

Kadak Lakshmi is believed to be a malevolent form of Goddess Lakshmi. She is equated with Alakshmi. She is mainly worshipped at a designated place on the outskirts of the village. She is never given a place inside the village. She is offered bridal finery, bitter neem leaves, sour and pungent food like lemons and chillies. She was earlier propitiated with blood.
