Parashiva Vishwakarma Temple at Ajanur in Kasargod District – Kerala

Parashiva Vishwakarma Temple at Ajanur in Kasargod District, Kerala, is located around 3 km from Kanhangad Railway Station. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the architect of the universe. Here Vishwakarma is associated with Lord Shiva. The main deity in the temple is five-faced Vishwakarma - he is described to have 5 faces, 10 hands and 15 eyes. The temple follows Lingayat tradition. The temple follows the prayer and achara tradition set by Lingaguru Swami. The main deity faces east. The temple belongs to the Vishwakarma community and they perform the puja and prayers.
