Sri Ram Yatra is observed in Chaitra Month. It is the annual
yatra and festival observed during Ramnavami at the Ram Temple at Sajjangad
Parali Fort in Satara District, Maharashtra. Sri Ram Yatra 2024 date is April 17. Samartha Ramdas Swami birth anniversary is also observed on the day.
The temple houses the murtis of Bhagavan Sri Ram, Mata Sita
and Lakshman. The Samadhi of Swami Samarth Ramdas is also located in the
temple.
Hundreds of people trek to the shrine on the day and offer
prayers to Bhagavan Sri Ram.
Sri Ram Yatra at Sajjangad Parali Fort is observed on
Chaitra Shukla Paksha Navami Tithi or the ninth day during the waxing phase of
moon in Chaitra month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in
Maharashtra.
