Rohideshwar Yatra is organized in Chaitra month. It is the
annual festival and fair held at Rohideshwar Temple in Rohida fort at Rayari or
Rarieshwar in Bhor Taluka of Pune district, Maharashtra. Rohideshwar Yatra 2024 date is April 13.
Rohideshwar Temple is dedicated to Shiva.
Rituals associated with Lord Shiva are performed during the
yatra.
The shrine is decorated for the occasion with lamps, lights,
leaves, flowers etc for the occasion. Food donation is also held during the
period.
Rohideshwar Yatra at Rayari is observed on Chaitra Shukla
Paksha Panchami Tithi or the fifth day during the waxing phase of moon Chaitra
month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
