Bhairavnath Yatra at Nagrale in Palus Taluka of Sangli District, Maharashtra

Bhairavnath Yatra at Nagrale is annually observed in Phagun month. The yatra is the main festival and fair at the Bhairavnath Temple at Nagrale in Palus Taluka of Sangli District, Maharashtra. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. Nagrale Bhairavnath Yatra 2017 date is March 5.

The shrine is decorated with lamps, lights, flowers, leaves and sugarcane for the occasion.
Hundreds of people participate in the unique festival. The temple remains open during the entire day and different rituals take place.

Bhairapur Bhairavnath Yatra is observed on Phalgun Shukla Paksha Ashtami Tithi or the eighth day during the waxing phase of moon Phalgun month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
