Perunna Thirumala Temple is located at Changanacherry in Kottayam District in Kerala. The annual festival or Utsavam in the temple is observed in Malayalam Kumbham month. The temple festival attracts hundreds of devotees. Perunna Thirumala Temple Utsavam or Festival 2016 beginning date is February 26. The festival ends with Arattun on Chothi Nakshatram in Kumbham month on March 6, 2016.
Various unique offerings are made at the shrine during the period.
The temple is traditionally decorated with plantain, coconut leaves, flowers, leaves, traditional lamps and lights for the occasion.

Caparisoned elephants, melam, fireworks and sheevali are part of the festival.
