Anyone can chant this mantra to please Shiva and get desires fulfilled. The
mantra should be chanted continuously for 40 days to be effective. The person
can decide the number of times it is chanted. It is ideal to chant the prayer
in the morning. During the chanting your mind should not wander around.
The only mantra to chant is
OM Namah Shivaya
You should also perform fasting on Monday and visit Shiva
temple.
The mantra should be chanted after taking bath.
You sit in a peaceful spot and chant the mantra.
Giving food or distributing cloth or doing a donation on
Mondays is highly auspicious.
